The ShiftZone blockchain is already partially live. The testnet and explorer are up and ready for you to try building on the chain. Please contact us for more details and access.
ShiftZone is a hybrid combination of Hyperledger, Quorum Consensys and Ethereum Virtual Machine. It is a genesis block network designed to be optimal for games.
ShiftZone support several wallets as long as they can support an EVM network such as Metamask and a few others. We will also have our own native wallet for it called Dragonhoard. The full list will be provided when the site goes live
With our goal to make the chain very accessible, we have set the gas fees at near zero at .00001 base cost per transaction.
ShiftZone uses it's native coin called Zonium. Zonium has many utilities such as for paying transaction fees, purchasing digital assets, and others
The main difference between gaming blockchains and traditional gaming platforms is that gaming blockchains are decentralized, transparent, and enable players to truly own their in-game assets, while traditional gaming platforms are typically centralized and lack transparency and ownership of in-game assets. Gaming blockchains offer new possibilities for ownership, transparency, security, and monetization that are not possible with traditional gaming platforms.
The Mainnet is close to being done and ready for public use. It will tentatively launch this second quarter of 2023.
With one of the core technologies being an EVM, ShiftZone supports EVM based integrations. You can even write using solidity on the chain.
You can start building on our testnet to check it out and learn more about it. Once the mainnet is up, you can build fully live products. To be able to build, you need to contact us for more information.
A gaming blockchain is a type of blockchain technology that is specifically designed for the gaming industry. It is a decentralized platform that uses blockchain to manage in-game assets, provide secure and transparent transactions, and enable players to truly own their in-game items. Gaming blockchains can also enable cross-game interoperability and new monetization models for players and game developers.
A layer 1 blockchain is a decentralized, distributed digital ledger that provides the foundation for a blockchain network, serving as the backbone for all transactions and data storage. It is often designed to provide high security, scalability, and reliability, and operates independently without the need for a central authority.
The genesis block is the first block of a blockchain, from which all subsequent blocks are linked through cryptographic hashes. It is the initial block that establishes the basic parameters of the blockchain, including the block structure, difficulty level, timestamp, and any initial transactions. The genesis block is usually created by the blockchain's creator or founding team, and serves as the foundation for the entire blockchain network.
